At PixelPool we are creating Dtail (Dtail | Sustainable Solutions for Fashion | Plan, Merchandise and Sell Products in 3D Virtual Showrooms)  as a sustainable alternative for critical parts of the fashion industry's workflow. Dtail is a 3D, cloud-based platform that is used by top fashion brands around the world to design, plan, present and sell collections using 3D samples and virtual environments. 


At the moment we are looking for a Product Owner for a temporary assignment during a maternity leave and offer a nine month working contract, starting in September. 

Your mission (responsibilities/scope)

As Product owner, you are a very important contributor to the success of Dtail. For your product area, you will be responsible for providing the development team with the right features to build - in the right order - to provide as much value as we can for Dtail customers. You keep your ear to ground, drive innovation and make sure that what we are building is valuable, relevant, feasible ánd innovative – and that we’re shipping it to our customers at the right moment.

What you’ll do (job activities)

You will work together with internal stakeholders and align with the Chief Product Officer to ensure that the product backlog of your area is properly filled, refined and prioritized. You work on developing features, writing acceptance criteria and user stories and you achieve the right balance between value and effort for each feature. You empathize deeply with our users and ensure that you understand the problems they face and involve them in developing solutions. You become an expert in your product area and contribute to the development of the overall Dtail product vision.

Job requirements

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a Product Owner role and have a good understanding of software development process and your contribution.
  • You ideally have previous experience working in the fashion industry in an area such as (3D) design, planning or merchandising, and you are familiar with the challenges fashion brands face integrating 3D design and virtual showrooms in their workflow.
  • To fully understand and empathize with users, speaking is silver and listening is gold – although you should be able to ask the right questions and coherently explain your approach to stakeholders.
  • You are an expert in dividing large, complex plans into smaller, manageable steps and are able determine accurately what drives the value of certain feature.
  • You know how to bring team members, internal- ánd external stakeholders on board with your approach, being an ambassador for the product.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • You enjoy the flexibility of the hybrid way of work while are also happy to be present and meeting with colleagues in the office at least three days per week.
  • You are eligible to work in the Netherlands without a work permit.
