Role Overview 

As the Client Solutions & 3D Visualization Lead, you’ll sit at the intersection of creativity, technology, and business. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling 3D retail environments and digital assets, while directly engaging with clients to translate their vision into digital experiences. You will also lead and mentor a dedicated team of 3D artists, guiding their work, fostering creative growth, and ensuring delivery excellence. This role requires a blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and strong client leadership. 

You’ll collaborate with store designers, merchandisers, planners, and marketers to transform concepts into stunning photorealistic 3D renders. This is a unique opportunity to work with global apparel and footwear brands and contribute to a world-class creative team. 
 
This role is for our Portland, Oregon studio.  

Key Responsibilities 

• In this client facing role, you will lead and guide external clients to find the right visualization solution for their needs, including recommendations for input and workflows  

• Act as the primary creative liaison for clients — gathering requirements, guiding creative direction, and delivering outstanding visual work that meets business objectives. 

• Lead and inspire a team of in-house 3D artists — setting direction, managing workloads, reviewing output, and supporting individual growth. 

• Create high-end 3D retail environments, store layouts, and digital product samples using tools such as 3ds Max, Sketchup, V-Ray, Enscape and Unreal Engine. 

• Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to scope new opportunities, contribute to proposals, and pitch innovative solutions. 

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of 3D visualization projects — from concept to final asset delivery — ensuring both creative quality and strategic alignment. 

• Host presentations, workshops, and feedback sessions with both clients and internal teams. 

• Model, texture, light, and render retail and branded spaces 

• Set and uphold creative and technical standards for the team 

• Stay ahead of industry trends in digital retail, visualization, and consumer experience to continually evolve and elevate PixelPool’s offering. 

What You Bring 

• Proven experience leading creative teams and mentoring talent in a collaborative studio or agency setting. 

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, especially in client-facing situations. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, 3D Design, or a related field 

• 8+ years of experience in a studio environment and working directly with clients 

• Expertise in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Sketchup, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, and After Effects 

• Strong portfolio showcasing photorealistic interior and retail visualizations 

• Experience working directly with clients to build custom 3D pipelines 

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines 

• Team-oriented with a proactive and collaborative mindset
